Volume 35 (Latin. LATIN EVERYWHERE.)

Filed under: Updates — CanonRap @ 11:20 pm

…Of course, whether said Latin is correct is up in the air. I’ll just give it my best shot until someone does a better job, quite possibly one of the Japanese blogs. For now, I’ll update the Work in Progress page.

(Working on the Character Commentary and Nazenani.)

Period 315

Titanoktonon II ‘Jaculatio Vorticis Tempestatis’
“Titan Slayer 2 ‘Windstorm Spiral Spear'”

Emissa!! Turbo Fulgoris Perforantis!!
抉れ雷の狂飆!! kaihou, egure ikadzuchi no kyouhyou
“Release!! Tempest of Gouging Lightning!!”

Period 319

Mille Gladii Obsidianii
“Thousand Obsidian Blades”

Circulus Pilorum Nigrorum
「万象貫く黒杭の円環」 banshou tsuranuku kokkui no enkan
“Ring of Black Stakes Piercing All Creation”

Period 321

Cataracta Quae Dividit Terrum!
“Earth-rending Torrent!”

Period 322

Sagitta Magica, Convergentia Series Aquaris!!
“Magic Archer, Convergence of 17 Water Arrows!!”

Period 324

Delustro Torporis!!
“Paralysis Disenchantment!!”

* Previously translated as “Paralysis Release Spell”, but “Disenchantment” sounds closer to the Latin.

  1. The only error I can spot ATM is “Nigorum” instead of “Nigrorum”.

  2. ‘Nigor’ or ‘Nigror’ can be decided if you learn latin for advanced. Its like ‘Niger’ and ‘Nigrum’

    • That is… not what I was taught, but still, it was “Nigrorum” after all.

  3. Looks about right as far as I can tell.

  4. “Nigorum” is just a mistake on my part, now that I look at it again. ニグロールム is closer to “Nigrorum” than “Nigorum” anyway.
