Period 329

Filed under: Updates — CanonRap @ 8:43 am

Well, that was sudden.

* So, Setsuna fought Tsukuyomi for a bit over thirty minutes, ending after Negi and Fate. They first started in Period 302, when Negi’s group made contact with Dunamis and co, and Kotarou’s group was still on its way to save Anya. Now think back on all that’s happened in that half-hour.

* Apparently, Takemikazuchi can change form as well as size, though I guess there isn’t any… ‘technical’ reason for it turning into a white wing? And oh god bare handed blade grab, Setsuna

* Mana’s fight ends with little fanfare. They hold each other at gun/claw-point but stop because of Negi’s victory. Interestingly, Poyo asks Mana to “come back to this side” (the Demon Realm?).

* Fate, tsun tsun.

You all know what happens next.

  2. What do you mean thirty minutes, CanonRap? In chapter 305, Takamichi says there are three hours left, then by the time Quartum, Quintum and Sextum are activated only ten minutes remain (and even that is delayed until Asuna is put back in place). How can it be only thirty minutes?

    • Just realized the people in the palace are likely referring to the time remaining until the ritual is activated, while the fleet outside to that remaining until Mundus Magicus is completely destroyed.

      • No, that’s right. Tsukuyomi said they fought for 32 minutes. Your post on TV Tropes summed it up the situation pretty well, I think.

        • Yeah, I kept thinking about that for a while after posting here.😛

  5. I would have liked to see Setsuna’s fight, but I guess she got too much screen time during MahoraFest for her to feature again now that the story’s moving along.

    I wonder why Motoko stopped using the Hina blade if it had already been sealed…?

    • If this was Setsuna’s final fight with Tsukuyomi it totally deserved more attention than it got.
