Some things of interest:

– Something probably worth repeating: Nagi is referred to several times in this chapter by other characters. “yatsu“, “that man”, and most interestingly, “kare” from Fate, the same term used in Chapter 308 to refer to “his resurrection”.

– Septendecim using the shortened Kosmike Katastrophe probably isn’t just a coincidence or display of strength… someone related to Eva?

– Both Rakan and Al have trouble ‘taking form’ on Earth.

– しおりちゃんかわいいよしおりちゃん

Edited the script with Nii’s and Septendecim’s activation keys.

  1. Hahah, thanks for the quick tl as usual. Interesting how they fought on Mundus Vetus and still managed to summon that much power.

More like why are they on Vetus suddenly from Mundus Magicus is another question I’d like answered too.

    • Guess we’ll get an answer next chapter…?

  2. There is a mistake: frame numbers in page 16 are one more than they actually are. There are 8 frames, and 8th has no text.

  3. As always, thanks for the translations ^_^ This chapter sure gives an interesting insight not only about Fate’s past, but about KE’s past as well some time after Ala Rubra’s rescue of Princess Arika and the whole awarding ceremony after “defeat” of LM at Nagi’s hands. The last scene indeed does hint on a pretty tragic event occurring soon after since that’s pretty much Luna and her mum making an appearance, ya? Well that said, seems like there are some interesting suggestions by Hata of AQS on the terms you’ve been trying to figure the sources of 🙂 Since it’s from masaxa’s blog, it’s probably mostly right.

    • I’ve read that post too, but really, it’s pretty much all guesswork at this point… ^^;;

      • True, though activation commands before have used food references, so Nasi Goreng wouldn’t be too much of a stretch, ne

  6. Am I the only one who thought Lifemaker looked kinda stereotypically Olympian/Greek in the last chapter? >_> Kills my ranting about him.

Thanks for the great work 🙂

  7. – Septendecim using the shortened Kosmike Katastrophe probably isn’t just a coincidence or display of strength… someone related to Eva?”
Well, it is the most powerful ice spell, isn’t it? And 17 is water-based…

    • It could be just to show how strong she is, I guess. It just seems convenient that she’d use the same spell when Akamatsu could’ve made totally new ones (like he did for Quartum and Quintum).

  8. I wonder if the same materializing problem affects Secundum and the others? It looks like they just come and go from world to world without problems – I mean, Nii made it sound like they either have no difficulties, or that going through such is no more than just a triviality to them.

    • Maybe they’re somehow “realer” than Magicus natives because they were created by the Lifemaker.

      Comment by CanonRap — May 26, 2011 @ 9:51 pm

      • Maybe it’s because they were directly created by LifeMaker. Maybe in the Averruncii (and Aturs, and Adads, and whatever A*** Dynamis is), we’re seeing something similar to the first generation “natives” of Mundus Magicus. Only after a while, when the land became a part of them as much as they became a part of it, the “illusory” weakness began to manifest.
