I’ll be the first to admit that I’m pretty poor with anything “grade 10 science class” level onwards, but Akamatsu’s explanations do a good job of explaining things to people with various levels of cluelessness (like me).

Which doesn’t stop me from translating it wrong, but there you go. It seems I made a mistake in my Ensis Exsequens translation – the effect itself isn’t caused by a decrease of temperature (which doesn’t seem to make much sense, when I think about it) though the decrease is one-half of the lethal nature of the spell.

And… that’s that. I get the feeling that some of my older translations are a bit iffy and probably made someone cry whenever science gets brought up (at least, I think my current translations are better) so I’ll need to go through those sometime.

  1. Well. . .
I’ve same problem with you. Finding relationship betwen science and magic (I’m sure has lots screwed things, maybe. . .).

  2. Magic always seems to find Physics and give him a good punch on a daily basis.

But Physics doesn’t mind. He knows that Magic still has to obey at least some of his rules.

Or just needs to punch him even harder to circumvent them.
